Atlanta-Tested Expertise
The Atlanta Lawn Challenges We Solve
Most Atlanta lawns struggle with the same handful of issues. Here's how we tackle each one — the local know-how that separates a healthy, weed-free lawn from a frustrating one.
Georgia Red Clay
Our dense red clay compacts hard, suffocating roots and blocking drainage. We fix it at the root with core aeration and soil work — not just more fertilizer on top.
Summer Disease & Pests
Brown patch, dollar spot, chinch bugs, and grubs thrive in our humid heat. We diagnose before we treat and prevent problems with smart watering and airflow. Spotting summer disease →
Watering Restrictions
Georgia's watering rules confuse most homeowners, and overwatering invites disease. We set a deep, early-morning schedule that keeps your lawn green and compliant. Watering rules explained →
Invasive Weeds
Crabgrass, dallisgrass, and nutsedge take over fast. The secret is timing — a pre-emergent in late winter as soil nears 55°F stops them before they sprout, and thick turf keeps them out.
Grass-Type Confusion
Bermuda, Zoysia, centipede, St. Augustine, and fescue each need different mowing heights and care. We identify what's in your yard and tailor everything to it. Bermuda vs. Zoysia vs. fescue →
No Time to Keep Up
Between work and life, the yard falls to the bottom of the list. We handle the timing, the products, and the schedule — so a healthy lawn is one less thing to think about.
Our approach follows research-based practices from sources like UGA Extension and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, tuned to your lawn's grass and soil — and you can grab our month-by-month Atlanta lawn care calendar anytime.

PinStripe Landscaping & Pro Svcs is a locally owned company rooted in Atlanta's Grant Park neighborhood. For over 7 years, owner Marcques Aghedo and our crew have earned a reputation for showing up, working hard, and treating every yard like it's our own.
We're more than a mow-and-go service. From clay-busting aeration and disease-fighting lawn programs to full landscape design, our customers know us as the team that's “much more than a lawn guy.”
“Marc and his team cleared tons of overgrown ivy, weeds, and unintended trees and branches — uncovering the yard again at a home I now rent out. Marc was professional, timely, and had great ideas, balancing the fact that it's a rental with my desire to bring it back to life. He's much more than a lawn maintenance guy; he's very knowledgeable in landscaping and plants overall. Call him.”

“We called a few landscaping businesses for gutter and yard cleanup and PinStripe was the only one that was responsive, professional, and transparent about pricing. They showed up on time and left the gutters spotless. I'm a very happy customer and will definitely be calling them again in the future.”

What areas does PinStripe Landscaping serve?
We're based in the Grant Park neighborhood and serve Metro Atlanta — including intown Atlanta neighborhoods like East Atlanta, Kirkwood, Inman Park, and Virginia-Highland, plus Decatur, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, East Point, Marietta, and many more. If you're near Atlanta, there's a good chance we cover you — just call and ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. PinStripe Landscaping & Pro Svcs is a licensed and insured, locally owned company. We carry insurance to protect your property and our crew on every job, and we're happy to confirm coverage before we start work.
Do you offer free estimates?
We do. Estimates are always free and no-obligation. Call us or fill out our quote form and we'll get you a fair, honest price — often based on a quick look at your property in person or from photos you send.
What lawn care and landscaping services do you offer?
We're a full-service lawn and landscaping company. That includes mowing and maintenance, fertilization and weed control, aeration and overseeding, leaf removal and cleanups, landscape design and installation, sod, mulch and pine straw, tree trimming, shrub work, edging, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning.
Do you offer same-day or emergency service?
When our schedule allows, yes — fast turnaround is one of the things our customers mention most. We've cleared yards on just a few hours' notice and worked into the evening to finish same day. Call early in the day for the best chance at same-day service.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. We earn your business one visit at a time. You can book a one-time job or set up recurring service, and you're free to adjust or pause without being locked into a long-term contract.
What types of grass do you work with?
All the common Atlanta grasses — Bermuda, Zoysia, centipede, St. Augustine, and tall fescue. Each has different mowing, watering, and feeding needs, and we tailor our care to whatever's growing in your yard.
Are your lawn treatments safe for kids and pets?
Yes. When we apply fertilization or weed control, we use EPA-registered products according to the label and give you clear re-entry guidance. In most cases the lawn is safe to use again once liquid applications have dried, and we're happy to talk through options if you'd prefer a lighter-touch approach.
How soon will I see results?
You'll usually notice improved color and thickness within a few weeks. Turning around a weedy or thin lawn is a full-season project, though — it took time to get run down, and building healthy, dense turf that crowds out weeds happens over a growing season. We set realistic expectations and keep you posted along the way.
How do you handle Atlanta's watering restrictions?
We build a watering approach that complies with current Georgia outdoor watering rules and actually helps your lawn — deep, early-morning watering of about an inch a week rather than a light daily sprinkle. Most Atlanta lawns are overwatered, which invites disease, so smarter timing usually means a greener lawn and a lower water bill.
How do I get started?
The fastest way is to call us at (323) 606-0255. You can also fill out the quote form on any page and we'll reach out. Tell us what your yard needs and we'll give you an honest estimate and get you on the schedule.
